Tips on Constipation avoidance

  • Drink at least eight glasses of warm water per day, if you can drink more.
  • As soon as you wake up, drink warm water with lemon, cayenne pepper may be added too.
  • Avoid eating food made from white flour products.
  • Replace coffee with herbal teas.
  • Eat raw beetroot, plain boiled or grated at least once a day.
  • Increase your amount of raw veggies in your diet.
  • Drink/Eat fermented food regularly eg, kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, yogurt etc.
  • Take probiotic supplement daily
  • Try mixed seeds, sunflower, flax, sesame, and pumpkin seeds. Sprinkle on cereals or eaten as a snack,
  • Make time to sit in the toilet soon after you wake up in the morning, do this regularly to establish a new and regular toilet habit.
  • Use a foot-stool to put your feet on, when having a bowel movement.
  • Never ignore the urge to have a bowel movement.
  • Get some exercise at least 4-5 times a week.
  • Fast at least once a week.
  • Do colonics on a regular basis
